Biography
This blog reflects my work with theplacetobe.net project in Brighton & Hove. The project is a partnership between seven local organisations who are seeking to improve information for people who live and work in Brighton & Hove.
Those organisations are Sussex and Brighton Universities, Brighton & Hove City Council, Virtual Brighton, thisisbrightonandhove.co.uk, Brighton & hove City Primary Care Trust and Sussex Community Internet Project. More details at SCIP's web site
The project is currently funded by the Government's Invest to Save Budget.
I'm working on this project on secondment from Sussex Community Internet Project - a local not for profit organisation which I've helped set up and run over the past seven year.
theplacetobe.net provides an opportunity to get involved in some very practical projects which can really change people's lives, and these pages provide an overview of some of the bright ideas I've stumbled across in the work I'm doing.
